Code of Business Ethics

The Rezidor Hotel Group is committed to maintaining a high standard of business ethics, honesty and integrity in line with its Responsible Business programme encompassing social, ethical and environmental responsibility.

All employees and contractors must be aware of, and comply with, the rules and guidelines of the Rezidor Code of Business Ethics. The Code contains rules for employees with regard to their interactions and behaviour with colleagues, customers, suppliers, shareholders and other stakeholders and includes:

  • Compliance with Rezidor's Responsible Business policy
  • Protecting the confidential, proprietary information and sensitive information of the Rezidor Hotel Group and its customers and partners
  • Protection and adequate use of company's assets and facilities
  • Treating Rezidor's employees, customers and partners with respect

All Rezidor employees receive a brand book including the Code of Business Ethics as part of the New Hire Orientation programme.

We encourage any employee with concerns or questions about the code of business ethics to discuss directly with their supervisor. If the supervisor is involved or will not act, this can and should be reported to the highest supervisor responsible.

Additionally, Rezidor recognises that an employee may wish to anonymously report serious or sensitive concerns regarding the code or a possible breach of the code. Therefore we have selected Ethics Point to receive these reports and ensure that they are swiftly brought to the attention of the appropriate person or persons in The Rezidor Hotel Group. Alternatively, employees can call a toll free number from most countries with Rezidor operations and speak to a trained operator that will fill out the report on the employees' behalf. Issues can be reported online in any one of 10 languages. Ethics Point is a certified "safe harbour" company authorised to properly handle documents that may contain sensitive information.
